From November 14 to 16, Barcelona has become the capital of urban innovation thanks to the presence of the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC). Companies such as ZTE, Seat, Huawei or Siemens present their technological innovations at the level of urbanism, structures, IoT, and mobility. More than 700 countries and companies have had representation at the Fair.
During the SCEWC it was possible to discuss issues such as security in cities, economy, sustainability, the circular economy, Big Data, governance so that stakeholders could exchange knowledge and solutions that are applied in different parts of the world.
HBS had the opportunity to be there to visit the exhibitors and learn about the news from the prescribers and companies dedicated to the installation of hospital maintenance systems, ventilation management, and IoT, and we have also been able to attend some of the presentations offers the SCEWC to know the different initiatives of companies and cities to build more sustainable and smart cities.
